Check valve seat (1) for proper valve seating. If valve seats properly,

a n even wear ring (2) will be seen as shown. If valve does not seat

p r o p e r l y , wear ring (2) will be broken in places as shown.

NOTE

There are two valve seats (1) in crankcase breather

v a l v e housing (3), one on each side of housing.

D o step 1 again for valve seat on other side of crankcase breather valve

housing (3).

I f either valve seat (1) is bad, get a new crankcase breather valve

assembly.
