C h e c k that two thrust springs (1) are not cracked or broken. If thrust

s p r i n g s are cracked or broken, throw them away and get new ones.

C h e c k that two retaining rings (2) are not cracked or bent. If retaining rings

a r e cracked or bent, throw them away and get new ones.

Check that two thrust washers (3) are not chipped, cracked, bent or grooved.

I f thrust washers are chipped, cracked, bent or grooved, throw them away

a n d get new ones.

C h e c k that six mounting screws (4) do not have stripped or damaged threads,

r o u n d e d heads or other damage. I f mounting screws are damaged, throw

them away and get new ones.

C h e c k that six mounting lockwashers (5) and two plugs (6) are not chipped,

c r a c k e d , or bent. I f lockwashers or plugs are damaged, throw them away

a n d get new ones.
