FRAME 1
CAUTION
Upper spring (1) is longer than lower spring (2) on both
m o d e l s of regulator (3).  Be careful not to mix them up or
r e g u l a t o r will not work properly.
NOTE
Two types of oil pressure regulator (3) have been used
o n these engines.  Assembly procedure is the same for
b o t h except as noted.
U p p e r plug (4) and lower plug (5) are the same size
o n early model regulator (3).
1.
Put in two plungers (6), upper spring (1), lower spring (2), two gaskets (7),
upper plug (4), and lower plug (5).
O n early model regulators (3), put in pipe plug (8).
2.
O n late model regulators (3), put in pipe plug (9).
