2-36. WEAR LIMIT INSPECTION. The following paragraph gives instructions for
checking the minimum and maximum wear limits to which a part or parts may be worn
before a new part is needed.
FRAME 1
NOTE
Readings must be within limits given in table 2-66. The
letter L indicates a loose fit and the letter T indicates a
tight fit. If readings are not within given limits, throw
away part and get a new one.

Measure inside diameter of two bearings (1).
2.
Measure shaft outside diameter (2).
3.
Measure fit of bearings (1) on shaft diameter (2).
Measure inside diameter of gear (3).
4.
Measure fit of gear (3) on shaft diameter (2).
5.
Measure output shaft cam section (4).
6.
