Readings must be within limits given in table 2-29. The letter

L indicates a loose fit and the letter T indicates a tight fit.

If readings are not within given limits, throw away part and

get a new one.

Measure fit of shifter shaft (1) in bore (2).

Measure fit of input shaft front bearing (3) in bearing bore (4).

Measure fit of countershaft front bearing outer race (5) in bearing bore (6).

Measure fit of front output shaft front bearing outer race (7) in bearing bore (8).
