There are two models of fuel level sensor. Model B is shown.
Do step (17) for Model B only.
Step 17.
Check for defective fuel level sensor. Disconnect two connectors (female pin and male
socket). Connect one probe from meter to black wire. Raise all four float switches and hold
in up position. Check resistance on red, yellow, blue, and brown wires.
If resistance is more than zero ohms on any wire, replace fuel level sensor
Step 18.
If TLI TANK LEVEL INDICATOR gage does not register, replace tank level indicator
adjuster (para 7-87).
