T r u c k parked, engine off, handbrake set.

EQUIPMENT CONDITION:

P r e l i m i n a r y Procedures.

(1) Remove transmission. Refer to para 7-3.

(2) Remove clutch. Refer to para 3-3.

(3) Remove flywheel. Refer to para 2-10.

Removal.

FRAME 1

U s i n g a hacksaw, cut through ring gear (1) until hacksaw blade comes in

contact with flywheel (2) surface.

P u t blade of chisel in hacksaw cut in ring gear (1).

U s i n g hammer on chisel, complete cutting of ring gear (1).
