Section I. SCOPE
7 - 1 . EQUIPMENT ITEMS COVERED. This chapter gives equipment maintenance pro-
c e d u r e s for the transmission assembly for which there are authorized corrective main
tenance tasks at the direct and general support maintenance levels. Since bearings
i n the transmission assembly must be maintained, the procedure for the maintenance
o f bearings is also included in this chapter.
7-2. EQUIPMENT ITEMS NOT COVERED. All equipment items for which corrective
m a i n t e n a n c e is authorized at the direct and general support maintenance levels are
covered in this chapter.
