Remove the clamp (8) from the tail lift pendant body (1).
(6)
Remove the harness (5) from the tail lift pendant body (1).
b.
Install
(1)
Fit the harness (5) to the tail lift body (1).
(2)
Fit the clamp (8) to the tail lift harness (5) and tail lift pendant body (1).
(3)
Fit the screws (7 and 6).
(4)
Fit the harness cables to the emergency stop and control switches in the positions noted
during removal. See unit maintenance procedures 5-156 and 5-157.
(5)
Check the tail lift pendant cover seal (4) is clean and not damaged.
(6)
Fit the tail lift cover (2) to the tail lift pendant body (1) with 6 screws and washers (3).

Follow on tasks
(1)
Connect the tail lift pendant to the DSB and check the operation of the tail lift in accordance
with the operator's manual TM 5-5420-279-10.
