5 - 155 TAIL LIFT - PENDANT HARNESS

INITIAL SETUP:

Tool Kit, General Mechanic's, Automotive (GMTK)

Heat gun

Materials Required

Heat shrink (Qty as required)

Equipment Conditions

Tail lift pendant disconnected from the vehicle

Remove

(1)

Remove the six screws and washers (3) securing the bottom cover (2) to the tail lift

pendant body (1).

(2)

Note the positions of all the cables on the control switches and emergency stop that make

up the harness (5).

(3)

Remove the cables from the emergency stop and control switches, see unit maintenance

procedures 5-156 and 5-157.

(4)

Remove the screws (6) and (7).
