Inspection Procedures. Perform a one time inspection of the Actuator Rod Clevis Pin as follows:
a. Unlatch and open main rotor pylon sliding cover to gain access to pitch trim servo assembly.
NOTE
The Actuator Rod Clevis Pin head should be seated securely against the Pitch Trim cylinder as-
sembly clevis bearing, however, there may be a gap not to exceed 0.126 inch between the head
of the Clevis Pin and the Pitch Trim Cylinder Assy Clevis Bearing. The reverse side of the pin
should exhibit evidence of swaging. The pin may rotate by hand and orientation of the pin can be
in either direction, provided sufficient clearance between the pin head and any structure is main-
tained.
NOTE
If Hydraulic power can be applied, move the cyclic to the full aft position to allow better access to
the area to be inspected.
b. Using a mirror and flashlight, visually inspect the Pitch Trim cylinder assembly clevis and clevis pin
for proper installation.
c.
If installation is correct, proceed to paragraph 9.a..
d. If the washer is absent, or the pin is not swaged on the opposite side, proceed to paragraph 9.b..
Correction Procedures.
a. If installation of clevis pin is correct --
(1) Ensure control area is free of foreign objects and all tools are accounted for.
(2) Close Main Rotor Pylon sliding cover and secure.
(3) The inspection is complete and the red horizontal dash entry will be cleared.
b. If the gap between the head of the pin and the clevis bearing exceeds 0.126 inch, the washer is not
installed, or the pin is not swaged, clear the original red horizontal dash // -- // fault and enter a red // X // with
the following statement, "Replace the Pitch Trim Assembly IAW UH-60-2-03 (TB 1-1520-237-20-241) prior
to the next flight." Replace the Pitch Trim assembly IAW TM 1-1520-237-23-6, paragraph 11-4-49.1, TM
1-1520-250-23-5, paragraph 11.11.1.
10. Supply/Parts and Disposition.
a. Parts required -- Items cited in paragraphs 6 and 7. may be required to replace defective items.
b. Requisitioning instructions -- Requisitioning replacement parts using normal supply procedures. All
requisitions shall us project code (CC 57-59) "X0S" (X-RAY ZERO SIERRA).
NOTE
Project code "X0S is required to track and establish a data base of stock fund expenditures in-
curred by the field as a result of message actions.
c.
Bulk and Consumable Materials. N/A.
d. Disposition. Dispose of removed parts/components using normal supply procedures. All turn--in
documents must include project code (CC 57-59) "X0S" (X-RAY ZERO SIERRA).
e. Disposition of Hazardous Material. N/A.
11. Special Tools, and Fixtures Required.. As required.
