Artillery and automotive grease, type GAA, MIL-G-10924

EQUIPMENT

CONDITION: Generator removed from vehicle, pulley removed from

generator.

a. Preliminary Procedure. Clean outside of generator before disassembly. Refer

to para 1-3.

b.Removal.

FRAME

Take out six screws (1) from slipring end cover (2).

CAUTION

Be careful not to damage leads (3) going to regulator

(4) when lifting end cover (2) away from housing (5).

Lift slipring end cover (2) away from housing (5).
