T u r n crankshaft about 45 to the left as viewed from front of engine. Then

t u r n crankshaft back to the right until proper timing mark on crankshaft

v i b r a t i o n damper and pulley lines up with timing pointer on timing gear cover.

Refer to frame 1.

C h e c k fuel injection pump timing again. Refer to frames 13 and 14.

P u t automatic timing device cover gasket (1) on automatic timing device win-

d o w (2) as shown. Put automatic timing device cover (3) on automatic timing

d e v i c e window as shown. S c r e w in and tighten four screws and lockwashers

(4).

P u t timing window gasket (5) on side of fuel pump (6) as shown.

I f working on any engine except LDS-465-2, put timing window cover (7) on

s i d e of fuel pump (6) as shown. P u t in two fillister head screws and lock-

washers (8).

I f working on engine LDS-465-2, put fuel shutoff solenoid (9) on side of fuel

p u m p ( 6 ) . P u t in two sockethead s c r e w s a n d l o c k w a s h e r s ( 1 0 ) .
