NOTE

This task is the same for the front and rear rocker arm

a s s e m b l i e s . T h i s task is shown for the front rocker arm

assembly.

L o o s e n six adjusting screw locknuts (1) on front rocker arm assembly (2).

T u r n six adjusting screws (3) as far to the left as they will go.

P u t front rocker arm assembly (2) on front cylinder head (4). Six mounting

h o l e s (5) in rocker arm assembly must line up with six holes (6) in cylinder

head.

P u t in and hand tighten two screws and lockwashers (7), Put in and hand

t i g h t e n two screws and lockwashers (8). Put in and hand tighten two

screws and lockwashers (9).

U s i n g torque wrench, tighten two screws (7) to 44 pound-feet. Using torque

wrench, tighten two screws (8) to 44 pound-feet. Using torque wrench,

t i g h t e n two screws (9) to 44 pound-feet.

D o steps 1 through 4 again on rear cylinder head (10).
