NOTE

This task is shown for one tube and one tube nut.

It can be used for all flame heater tubes and tube

nuts.

FRAME 1

C h e c k that plastic tubing (1) is not cracked, kinked or brittle.

C h e c k that plastic tubing (1) has not cracked around tube nuts (2).

T h r o w away plastic tubing (1) if it is cracked or damaged and get a new one.

T h r o w away plastic tubing (1) if tube nuts (2) are stripped or damaged and

get a new one.

C h e c k that 1/4-inch plastic tubing (1) has not shrunk at tube nut ferrules

( 2 ) . Throw away 1/4-inch plastic tubing if No. 28 drill shank (3) cannot be

p u t in tube opening.

C h e c k that 1/8-inch plastic tubing (1) has not shrunk at tube nut ferrule (2).

T h r o w away 1/8-inch plastic tubing if 1/32-inch drill shank (3) cannot be put

in tubing opening.
