NOTE
I f working on model with exhaust elbow (1), do steps 1
t h r o u g h 4. I f working on model with exhaust adapter
( 2 ) , go to frame 3.
1.
C h e c k that exhaust elbow (1) has no cracks, holes or burned areas. If it
d o e s , get a new one.
2.
C h e c k that flanges of exhaust elbow (1) have no burned areas and are not
w a r p e d . I f flanges are damaged, get a new exhaust elbow.
3.
C h e c k that sections of expansion bellows (3) have not come apart. If
e x p a n s i o n bellows are damaged, get a new exhaust elbow (1).
4.
C h e c k that flanges of exhaust elbow (1) have no nicks or burrs. Take out
small nicks or burrs with a fine mill file. If more repair is needed, get a new
exhaust elbow.
