Failure to do this may result in injury to personnel and

C h e c k that tachometer adapter shaft (1) is not worn, bent or cracked, and has

n o b u r r s . F i x small burrs with a crocus cloth dipped in dry cleaning solvent.

I f more repair is needed, get a new tachometer adapter shaft.

P u t tachometer shaft (1) in tachometer adapter (2). Turn tachometer adapter

s h a f t ( 1 ) . T a c h o m e t e r adapter shaft must `turn freely. If it does not, get a

n e w tachometer adapter.
