I f readings are not within given limits, throw away part
and get a new one.

Measure f r e e length of two valve rocker arm thrust springs (1).
2.
Measure l o a d needed to squeeze two thrust springs (1) down to length of 2
inches.
Measure m a x i m u m solid height of two thrust springs (1).
