a. Cleaning. There are no special cleaning procedures needed. Refer to
c l e a n i n g procedures given in para 4-3.

1 . Check that two studs (1) are not loose, stripped or damaged in any other
w a y . Fix minor thread damage with a thread chaser. If more repair is
n e e d e d , get a new stud.
2.
C h e c k that adapter (2) is not cracked and that stud holes (3) are not
s t r i p p e d o r o u t - o f - r o u n d . I f adapter is damaged, get a new one.
