FRAME 1
T a k e out two screws and flat washers (1) and take off two tube clamps (2)

w i t h flame heater fuel tubes (3 and 4).
NOTE
Some engines do not have starwasher (6) holding ground
strap (5).
T a k e off screw, flat washer, and starwasher (6) and take off ground

T a k e off six screws and flat washer (7).

NOTE
Two tappet chamber cover screws and lockwashers (7)
w e r e taken out during fuel filter assembly removal.
O n some engines three lockwashers (8) are welded to
t a p p e t chamber cover (10) and cannot be taken off.
T a k e off three nuts (9) and lockwashers (8) and take off tappet chamber
