If vehicle has been operating, use
extreme care to avoid being burned
when removing radiator cap. Use heavy
rags or gloves to protect hands. Turn
radiator cap only one-quarter turn to the
left and allow pressure to be relieved
before fully removing cap. Failure to
comply may result in injury to personnel.
a.
Check coolant condition. Test coolant to see
if draining is necessary (TB 750-651).
b.
Replace coolant if required (Appendix H).
