(3) Coat threads of elbow (4) with pipe thread sealing compound and install elbow in engine
block (5).
(4) Connect oil manifold hose (3) to elbow (4).
c. Follow-on Maintenance.
(1) Start engine and check for leaks (TM 9-2320-279-10).
(2) Shut off engine (TM 9-2320-279-10).
(3) Install engine side panel (TM 9-2320-279-10).
