2. COOLANT PUMP FAILS TO OPERATE (INDICATOR LIGHT COMES ON) (MODEL A).

Step 1.

Check coolant pump for loose electrical connections.

Tighten loose connections.

Step 2.

Check voltage at coolant pump. Place positive (+) probe at terminal No. 4. Place

negative (--) probe on known good ground.

If 24 vdc is present, go to Step 3.

If 24 vdc is not present, repair or replace wire No. 1530 (para 20-2).

Step 3.

Perform continuity check on ground wire No. 1317 of coolant pump.

If continuity is present, repair or replace coolant pump (para 20-2).

If continuity is not present, repair or replace wire No. 1317.

Step 4.

If problem has not been solved, notify the supervisor.
