W o r k i n g under truck, f i n d t r a n s f e r m o u n t i n g b r a c k e t b o l t ( 1 ) .
M e a s u r e distance A to find spot for bracket (2).
2.
a.
If working on trucks M51A2, M54A2, M54A2C or M55A2, distance A is
18 3/16 inches.
b.
I f working on truck M52A2, distance A is 13 5/16 inches.
c.
I f working on truck M543A2, distance A is 26 3/16 inches.
P u t bracket (2) on frame (3) as measured in step 2 and as shown.
3.
C e n t e r punch and drill out four 13/32-inch holes (4) through frame (3).
