FRAME 3
1.
P u t gasket (1) and cover (2) in place.
Put in four screws (3) and lockwashers (4).

Press seal (5) into cap (6).
3.
P a c k inside of cap (6) with grease.
4.
P u t gasket (7) and cap (6) with seal (5) in place.
5.
P u t in four screws (8) and lockwashers (9) .

F a s t e n dial indicator to housing (10) so that plunger of dial indicator is against
e n d of input shaft (11) as shown.
P u s h in and pull out input shaft (11) to check that end play is between 0.010
8.
i n c h and 0.033 inch.
T a k e off dial indicator.

I f end play is not within limits given in step 8, do steps 11 through 14. If
end play is within limits given, go to frame 4.
T a k e out four screws (8) and lockwashers (9) .

12.
Take off cap (6) with seal (5) .
P u t cap (6) with seal (5) back in place.
Put on another gasket (7) .
13.
Do steps 6 through 13 again until end play is within given limits.
14.
GO TO FRAME 4
