P r e s s bearing (1) into bore of input drive gear (2). Refer to Part 1,
para 7-7.

P u t bearing (3) into input shaft bore of housing (4). Refer to Part 1,
para 7-7.
3.
H o l d input drive gear (2) and two thrust washers (5) in place in housing(4)
P u s h input shaft (6), splined end first, through bores of input drive gear,
t h r u s t washers, and bearing (1).
4.
S l i d e clutch (7) onto input shaft (6).
5.
P u t bearing (8) in place.
