C h e c k that two bearings (1) are not damaged. Refer to Part 1, para 7-7.

C h e c k that two bushings (2) are not scored, chipped or damaged in any

other way.

Measure two bearings (1) and two bushings (2). Check wear limits. Refer

C h e c k that worm gear (4) has no broken, chipped or scored teeth or any

M e a s u r e worm gear (4). Check wear limits. Refer to table 17-4.
