T r u c k parked, engine off, handbrake set.
EQUIPMENT CONDITION :
P r e l i m i n a r y P r o c e d u r e . Clean all parts. Refer to part 1, para 1-3.

W e l d i n g repairs can be made on truck without
t a k i n g off approach plates or center deck.
FRAME 1
T a k e out two screws (1) and take off reflector (2) from both approach
1.
plates (3).
2.
T a k e out 14 screws (4) and nuts (5) from approach plates (3) and cross-
member (6).
T a k e off two approach plates (3) and crossmember (6).
