( 3 ) C l e a n i n g . T h e r e are no special cleaning procedures required. Refer to
c l e a n i n g procedures given in Part 1, para 13.
(4) Inspection and Repair.
(a) Check brackets, braces, supports and crossmembers for cracks,
b r e a k s a n d d i s t o r t i o n . C h e c k for loose rivets and screws.
( b ) Fix minor damage by straightening or welding. If rivets or screws
a r e missing, get new ones. Refer to TM 9-237.
( c ) If brackets, braces, supports and crossmembers have major damage,
g e t new ones.
(5) Replacement.

A l i n e holes (1) of rear transfer crossmember ( 2 ) w i t h f r a m e ( 3 ) .
P u t in four bolts (4) and nuts (5). Refer to T B 9 - 2 3 0 0 - 2 4 7 - 4 0 .
