M e a s u r e distance f r o m outer surface of pressure plate (1) to inner surface of

c o v e r p l a t e ( 2 ) . U n s c r e w three capscrews (3) until distance is 1.274 to 1.276
inches.
L a y clutch cover ( 4 ) face down on a flat surface.

M e a s u r e distance f r o m top of three release levers (5) to flat surface. If dis-

t a n c e is not 2.163 to 2.193 inches, do steps 4 through 7.
L o o s e n three jamnuts (6).
4.
I f distance in step 3 was less than 2.163 inches, t u r n three adjusting screws
5.
( 7 ) to the right. I f distance was more than 2.193 inches, turn three adjusting
s c r e w s to the left.
W h e n distance in step 3 is correct, h o l d adjusting screws (7) and tighten

j a m n u t s (6).
T u r n each of three capscrews (3) one turn to the right.
