S o l v e n t , dry cleaning, type II (SD-2), Fed. Spec P-D-680
Tappet cover gasket
P E R S O N N E L : One
EQUIPMENT CONDITION :
T r u c k parked, engine off, handbrake set.
P r e l i m i n a r y Procedures.
a.
(1) Open hood.
R e f e r to TM 9-2320-211-10.
(2) Open left side panel.
R e f e r to TM 9-2320-211-10.
(3) Remove fuel filters and bracket.
R e f e r to TM 9-2320-211-20.
b.
Removal.
1.
Take out 11 capscrews (1) with washers (2).
2.
Pull off rear cover (3).
T a k e off gasket (4) and throw away.
T h e front cover (5) is part of the oil cooler and filter housing assembly.
3.
R e f e r to para 2-22 for oil cooler and filter housing assembly removal.
