ENGINE GENERATOR REGULATOR REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT.
Jumper wires (2)
Spanner wrench,
TOOLS:
l/2-inch socket wrench
8-inch extension
l/2-inch open end wrench
Connector caps
SUPPLIES:
PERSONNEL: One
EQUIPMENT CONDITION: Truck parked, engine off, handbrake set.
Preliminary Procedures.
a.
(1) Open hood. Refer to TM 9-2320-211-10.
(2) Disconnect battery ground cable. Refer to para 7-44.
b.
Removal.
Using spanner wrench, unscrew and take off generator cable connector (l).
1.
Cap connector and receptacle (2).
Using spanner wrench, unscrew and take off battery cable connector (3).
2.
Cap connector and receptacle (4).
Using l/2-inch wrench, unscrew and take out four screws (5).
3.
Take out engine generator regulator (6).
