5 - 111 CHASSIS - CHEST PACK JOY STICK CONTROL

INITIAL SETUP:

Tools Required

Tool Kit, General Mechanic's, Automotive (GMTK)

Materials Required

Nyloc nuts (Qty 4)

Equipment Conditions

Chest pack removed from the vehicle

Remove

(1)

Remove the 14 screws and washers securing the chest pack panel (1) to the chest pack.

(2)

Locate the joy stick control switch (5).

(3)

Note the position of and remove the quick release plug (2) from the printed circuit board.

(4)

If required, note the positions of the two cables (8) and remove them from the switch (5) by

turning the two screws (7) counter-clockwise.

(5)

Remove the four nyloc nuts (3) and cover plate (4).

(6)

Remove the joy stick control switch (5) complete with grommet (6).

Install

(1)

Fit the joy stick control switch (5) to the chest pack panel (1), complete with grommet (6).

(2)

Ensure that the flange of the grommet (6) is flat against the chest pack panel (1).

(3)

Fit the cover plate (4) and secure in place with four new nyloc nuts (3).

(4)

If required fit the two cables (8) to the joy stick control switch (5) and secure in place with

the two screws (7).

(5)

Fit the quick release plug (2) to the printed circuit board at the position noted during

removal.

(6)

Check that the chest pack body seal is clean and not damaged.

(7)

Fit the chest pack panel (1) to the chest pack with 14 screws and washers.
