5 - 009 BRIDGE MODULE - END BEAM LIFTING PIN

INITIAL SETUP:

Tools Required

Tool Kit, General Mechanic's, Automotive (GMTK)

Materials Required

Thread locking compound, loctite 243

Equipment Conditions

End beam placed on a suitable working surface

Remove

(1)

Remove the screws (3) securing the caps (2) to the end beam.

(2)

Remove the caps (2).

(3)

Remove the lifting pin (1).

(4)

Check all threaded components for wear and damage.

(5)

Check the lifting pin (1) for wear and damage.

(6)

Replace components as necessary.

Install

(1)

Fit the lifting pin (1) to the end beam.

(2)

Apply thread locking compound to the screws (3).

(3)

Fit the caps (2) and secure in place with the screws (3).
