8.
Inspection Procedures.
a. Prepare aircraft for safe ground maintenance.
b. Gain access to Collective Boost and Yaw Boost Servo assemblies.
NOTE
The following steps are to be performed on both the Collective Boost and Yaw Boost Servos.
c. Conduct a visual inspection of the Servo assemblies for loose Collar and/or Swage Pin (Four on Yaw
Boost assembly and six on Collective Boost assembly).
d. Apply finger pressure to each fastener (Pin/Collar) to check for rotation or axial motion. (Refer to
TM 1-1520-237-23-6, paragraph 11-3-7.1 or TM 1-1520-250-23-5, paragraph 11.13.1.2).
NOTE
The Swage Pins and Collars that connect the input valve lever to the valve linkage may rotate in
the mount as an assembly. However, no Collar is allowed to rotate on any Swage Pin.
e. If any Collar is missing or rotates on Pin, or if any Pin and Collar assembly rotates in mount (Except
as noted above), or if any Collar has axial motion as described in TM 1-1520-237-23-6, paragraph 11-3-7.1
or TM 1-1520-250-23-5, paragraph 11.9.1.2, proceed as follows:
(1) Make the following entry on the DA Form 2408-13-1. Enter a Red //X// status symbol with
the following statement: "Swage Pins on (Collective and/or Yaw Boost Servo) assembly unserviceable IAW
TB 1-1520-237-20-252."
(2) Perform correction procedures IAW paragraph 9.
(3) Clear entry from paragraph 1.a. and report IAW paragraph 14.
f.  If no discrepancies are found, inspection is complete. Clear entry from paragraph 1.a. and report
9.  Correction Procedures. If any Collar is missing or rotates on Pin, or if any Pin and Collar assembly
rotates in mount (Except as noted above), or if any collar has axial motion as described in TM
1-1520-237-23-6, paragraph 11-3-7.1 or TM 1-1520-250-23-5, paragraph 11.9.1.2, replace Boost Servo as-
sembly IAW TM 1-1520-237-23-6 or TM 1-1520-250-23-5.
10. Supply/Parts and Disposition.
a. Parts Required - Items cited in paragraph 6 may be required to replace defective items.
b. Requisitioning Instructions - Requisition replacement parts using normal supply procedures. All req-
uisitions shall use project code (CC 57-59) "X1R" (X-RAY-ONE-ROMEO).
NOTE
Project code "X1R" is required to track and establish a data base of stock fund expenditures in-
curred by the field as result of TB actions.
c. Bulk and Consumable Materials - N/A.
d. Disposition - Hold any discrepant part/component pending disposition instructions from logistical
point of contact in paragraph 16.
