TOOLS:
C o t t e r pin (6) (2 for each torque rod)
SUPPLIES:

PERSONNEL:
T r u c k parked, engine off, handbrake set.
EQUIPMENT CONDITION:
P r e l i m i n a r y Procedure. T o remove upper torque rods on right side, right

r e a r spring assembly must be removed first. Refer to para 15-6.
Removal.

FRAME 1
T a k e out cotter pin (1) at each end of torque rod (2) to be taken out. Throw

a w a y cotter pins.
NOTE
Items 3 through 7 are only on two upper torque rods.
T a k e off two nuts (3), screws (4), washers (5), and spacers (6). Take off
