8. Inspection Procedures.
a. If the provisions for mounting an External Hoist are on the aircraft; inspect and correct IAW paragraph 9 and
report the results of the inspection IAW 14b.
b. If the unit has a paragraph 6 Hydraulic Hoist, inspect and correct IAW paragraph 9. Report the results of the
inspection lAW paragraph 14b.
c. If that aircraft does not have provisions for mounting an External Hoist the inspection is complete and no report is
required.
d. If the unit does not have a paragraph 6 External Hoist the inspection is complete.
9. Correction Procedures Contact the Technical POC in paragraph 16a VIA Telephone, E-mail, or FAX to obtain the
.
specific instructions for inspection/correction of the mounting provisions and/or Hydraulic Hoist in the request, provide the
tail number(s) of aircraft that have the provisions for mounting the External Hoist, and provide the part number and serial
number of each hoist on hand.
10. Supply/Parts and Disposition.
a. Parts Required. Items cited in paragraph 7 may be required to replace defective items.
b. Requisitioning Instructions. Requisition replacement parts using normal supply procedures. For aircraft other
than the MH-60K, the Hoist is non-standard equipment that is authorized by the AWR process and is maintained and
supported through local resources. AMCOM does not logistically support these items.
c. Bulk and Consumable Materials. NA.
d. Disposition.  Dispose of removed parts/components using normal supply procedures.

In accordance with environmental protective agency directives as
implemented by your servicing environmental coordinator (AR 200-1).

12. Application.
a. Category of Maintenance. AVUM. Aircraft downtown will be charged to AVUM maintenance.
b. Estimated time required.
(1) Total of 0.25 man-hours using one person.
(2) Total of 0 hours downtime for one end item.
c. Estimated cost impact of stock fund items to the field.
