WARNING

P r e s s u r e plate assembly (1) is heavy. It must be held

f i r m l y up and against flywheel (2) until mounting screws

( 4 ) are put in. If it is not held up, it will fall and cause

i n j u r y to personnel and damage to equipment.

P u t pressure plate assembly (1) in place against flywheel (2)

Soldiers

A l i n e eight holes in pressure plate assembly with holes in clutch

A and B

disk (3).

H o l d pressure plate assembly (1) firmly up and against clutch

Soldier A

d i s k (3) until eight mounting screws (4) are put in.

P u t in eight screws with lockwashers (4).

Soldier B

T i g h t e n eight screws (4) to 23 to 27 pound-feet.

P r e s s four release levers (5), one at a time, using prybar, and

t a k e out release lever spacer blocks (6).

T a k e out clutch alining tool (7).
