FRAME 2
WARNING
Flywheel (1) is very heavy. It should be lifted into
p l a c e by two persons.  A f t e r flywheel is in position,
it must be held firmly until mounting bolts are put in.
Failure to do so may cause injury to personnel and
d a m a g e to equipment.
CAUTION
Mating surfaces of crankshaft flange (2) and flywheel
(1) must be clean and free of raised metal which could
k e e p flywheel from being properly seated.

L i f t flywheel (1) and flexible plates (3) up to flywheel
Soldiers
housing (4).
A and B
2.
A l i n e scribe marks on flywheel (1) and flexible plates (3) and
s l i d e them onto pilot bolt (5).
3.
H o l d flywheel (1) and flexible plates (3) in place while soldier B
Soldier A
p u t s in five mounting lockbolts (6).
4.
Soldier B
C o a t six lockbolts (6) with engine oil. Put o n s c u f f p l a t e ( 7 ) .
P u t in and hand tighten five lockbolts.
5.
T a k e out pilot bolt (5).
P u t in and hand tighten other lockbolt
(6).
