C o a t connecting rod bearing lower half (1) and bearing cap (2) with oil.
1.
NOTE
Bearing caps (2) are numbered. Bearing cap number
m u s t match and face the same way as connecting rod
number.
Put bearing cap (2) in place on connecting rod (3). Put in two capscrews (4).
2.
T i g h t e n capscrews (4) to 66 to 67 pound-feet.

T i g h t e n capscrews (4) to 95 to 100 pound-feet.

5.
Do step 2 of frame 1 and frames 2 through 4 again for the other five pistons.
