NOTE

E n g i n e LDS-465-2 is the only one which needs

inspection and repair.

FRAME

C h e c k that intake elbow (1) has no damaged threads, nicks, burrs, and raised

metal. Fix minor damage with a fine mill file.

C h e c k gasket mounting surface of intake elbow (1) for warpage. If surface

i s not completely flat, work surface across a sheet of crocus cloth on a flat

s u r f a c e . I f surface is badly warped, throw away intake elbow and get a new

one.

C h e c k that intake elbow (1) has no cracks or other damage. If elbow is

c r a c k e d or badly damaged, throw it away and get a new one.
