F o r engine LDS-465-2, go to frame 4. For all

o t h e r engines, go to frame 1.

NOTE

R e p l a c e m e n t air compressors are fitted with protective

cover (3), cover gasket (4), and slotted nut (5).

I f putting on a replacement compressor, do steps 1 and 2.

I f putting on used compressor, go to frame 2.

T a k e off four push-on nuts (1) and rivets (2) and take off protective cover

( 3 ) a n d g a s k e t ( 4 ) . T h r o w away nuts, rivets, cover, and gasket.

T a k e off and throw away slotted nut (5).

NOTE

Self-locking nut taken off during disassembly will be

u s e d instead of slotted nut (5).
