WARNING
D r y cleaning solvent is flammable. Do not use near an
o p e n flame. K e e p a fire extinguisher nearby when sol-
v e n t i s u s e d . U s e only in well-ventilated places.
Failure to do this may result in injury to personnel and
d a m a g e to equipment.
1.
C h e c k that pulley flange (1) and pulley half (2) has no cracks, nicks, wear
a n d other damage. F i x minor damage to belt surfaces of pulley flange and
p u l l e y half with fine mill file or crocus cloth dipped in dry cleaning solvent.
2.
C h e c k that clamping sections (3) of pulley flange (1) have no breaks and
bends.
3.
C h e c k that threaded holes in clamping section (3) are not damaged. Fix
d a m a g e d threads with a tap.
4.
C h e c k that two screws (4) have no damaged threads. Fix minor thread damage
w i t h a file thread restorer.
5.
C h e c k that threads on pulley half (2) are not damaged. Fix damaged threads
w i t h a file thread restorer.
6.
C h e c k that keyway inside pulley half (2) has no damage or wear.
7.
I f pulley flange (1) or pulley half (2) are damaged beyond repair, throw them
a w a y and get new ones.
