F a i l u r e to do this may result in injury to personnel

a n d damage to equipment.

C h e c k that pump adapter (1) is not cracked or bent and has no nicks, burrs

o r scratches on gasket surfaces. F i x minor nicks, burrs or scratches with

a fine mill file or crocus cloth dipped in dry cleaning solvent. If more

r e p a i r is needed, get a new part.

C h e c k that drive gear (2) has no cracks, nicks, burrs, scratches or worn or

c h i p p e d g e a r t e e t h . T a k e out minor nicks, burrs or scratches with a fine

m i l l file or crocus cloth dipped in dry cleaning solvent. If more repair is

n e e d e d , get a new part.
