C h e c k that all threaded parts are not stripped, crossthreaded or damaged in

a n y other way. Take out minor thread damage with thread chaser or tap.

I f more repair is needed, get a new part.

C h e c k that two clamps (1) are not bent, dented or cracked. Take out minor

b e n d s or dents. If more repair is needed, get a new part.

P u t on two tube clamps (1).

C h e c k that three tubes (2, 3, and 4) are not cracked, brittle, split or

damaged in any other way. If tube is damaged in any way, cut a new tube

o f the same length from plastic tube stock and get two new tube nuts (5).

Slide two new tube nuts on tube and tape in place so tube nuts are not lost.
