NOTE
Do not take out three studs (1), six screw thread
i n s e r t s (3), eight screw thread inserts (4) or 12
s c r e w thread inserts (5) unless they are damaged.
R e f e r to para 4-28a (3) for inspection procedures.
1.
T a k e three studs (1) out of flywheel housing (2).
2.
U s i n g screw thread extractor, take out six screw thread inserts (3).
3.
U s i n g screw thread extractor, take out eight screw thread inserts (4), four
f r o m each side of housing.
4.
Using screw thread extractor, take out 12 screw thread inserts (5).
