F a i l u r e to do this may result in injury to personnel

a n d damage to equipment.

C h e c k that tachometer adapter shaft (1) is not worn, bent or cracked, and has

n o b u r r s . T a k e off small burrs with a crocus cloth dipped in dry cleaning

s o l v e n t . I f more repair is needed, get a new tachometer adapter (2).

T u r n t a c h o m e t e r a d a p t e r s h a f t ( 1 ) . T a c h o m e t e r adapter shaft must turn

f r e e l y . I f it does not, get a new tachometer adapter -( 2 ) .
