WARNING
D r y cleaning s o l v e n t is flammable. Do not use
near an open flame. Keep a fire extinguisher
n e a r b y w h e n s o l v e n t i s u s e d . U s e only in well-
v e n t i l a t e d p l a c e s . F a i l u r e to do this may result
in injury to personnel and damage to equipment.
C h e c k that d o w e l p i n s ( 1 ) h a v e n o n i c k s , s c r a t c h e s o r b u r r s . F i x m i n o r
1.
b u r r s w i t h a fine mill file or crocus cloth dipped in cleaning solvent.
2.
C h e c k that d o w e l p i n s ( 1 ) a r e n o t c r a c k e d , b r o k e n o r l o o s e .
3.
If either of two dowel pins (1) is cracked, broken or loose, pull it out
using dowel pin puller.
4.
Using soft-faced hammer, tap in new dowel pin (1) until dowel pin bottoms
in hole.
5.
Check that all crankcase-to-cylinder-head studs (2) are not stripped,
cracked, or broken.
If crankcase-to-cylinder-head studs (2) are damaged, get new ones.
