Soldier A
1.
Set up input shaft (1) in hydraulic press as shown.
NOTE
Scribe top and bottom of gear (2) so that it will be put
back the same way.
Soldier B
2.
Working from under press, hold bottom of input shaft (1) to keep it from
falling when input shaft is pressed out of gear (2) and bearing (3). Tell
soldier A when ready.

3.
Press out input shaft (1).
