Soldier A
1.
Set up hydraulic press as shown.
Put clamp (1) on second and third speed synchronizer sleeve (2)
2.
as shown.
Working from under press, hold bottom of mainshaft (3) to keep it
Soldier B
3.
from falling when second and third speed synchronizer sleeve (2) is
pressed off. Tell soldier A when ready.

4.
Press out mainshaft (3).
